![]() Different lists so I can separate my two businesses into their own groups plus personal stuff in another, a real plus. I have installed gTasks Pro on my MAC as well as on my iPhone and iPad. ![]() The “Reminders” app that comes with Apple is nice enough, but it is very limited. Otherwise, it’s really great and I’m excited about being in better integrity with my lists and habits because of a more granular interface. (This works well in Apple Reminders native app.) I want to be reminded when it is the the due date AND I arrive at the location. It is 10 days before that, and when I arrived at home, the reminder popped up. That’s annoying.Ģ) I set a location based reminder for the first of the month, beginning next month, when I arrive at home. I have to go up and click Lists and then My Tasks to be able to open the Subtasks. Problems I’ve noticed in the first couple of days: (Maybe there is a fix for these, but I looked in the FAQs and googled the problems and didn’t find solutions.)ġ) On the iPhone app, if I get a popup reminder for a Task, I can’t open the arrow to view the subtasks from the Overdue or Today sections. Now if I did 4 out of 5, I can mark the subtasks. In Reminders, I had to check off the whole set, or nothing at all. I like to have stacks of tasks together that I do each day at a certain time of day. Reminder has a very limited space to type. But this app is better because I can create subtasks, and there is a lot more room to make notes. Certainly aren't going to help an individual customer find a circumvention to the problem.I’ve been using Reminder, because it has location-based reminders, which are handy. I assume that means they know that sync doesn't work, probably can't fix it, and aren't going to say anything about it. The worst thing is that I reported the problem twice but they have never responded. A month ago an update claimed to fix issues with sync but it hasn't synced consistently since. A while back it seems Google changed their interface and thus broke Gtasks. It's best feature used to be that it synched using Google Tasks thus I could use it on my iPhone, my iPad, my Mac, and even keep track from non-Apple devices via Google. As a stand-alone app it handles my scheduling, but ONLY on my iPhone. I still use Gtasks Pro daily, but not happily. I liked Gtasks so much when it worked :(. I'm trying to decide between Todiost and TickTick. Closed Gtasks, restarted it, checked sync status, and it had failed. Went thru and got it up to date, pausing after each task update so it could sync. Synced ok, but it was all out of date, likely since it hasn't synced for several months. I deleted all my installations, then reinstalled iPhone copy.
